Cops say assault suspect caught breaking bail conditions

Ten minutes after meeting with her bail supervisor, a woman was witnessed violating her bail conditions.

She was caught taking drugs two blocks from the courthouse on Thursday, police say.

She and two people who allegedly sold her drugs were arrested.

The woman, Alison Louise Duquemin, 28, is out on bail after being accused of involvement of a forcible confinement, extortion and sexual assault case involving a 23-year-old woman in Esquimalt in December. Three other people, two men and a woman, were also arrested in relation to the incident.

Duquemin was charged with three counts of breach of recognizance and one of possession. A 32-year-old Saanich man and a 27-year-old Victoria woman could also be charged with drug offences.
