Cute kid contest: Name Beacon Hill’s newest additions to the herd

Eight new baby goats born Wednesday morning

There will be a few sweet little additions to the Beacon Hill Children’s Farm when it opens for the season in March, after a double birth Wednesday morning.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, at the wintering quarters for the petting zoo goats, Mia and Bananas each gave birth.

Mia gave birth to four girls and one boy between midnight and 12:22 a.m., and Bananas gave birth to three girls between 1:30 and 2 a.m.

The latest kids follow on the birth of three beautiful dwarfs kids to (aptly named) Snow White during the snow storm on Feb. 11.

The farm is asking for help on its Facebook page in naming its latest additions.

“After 34 years we are running out of names,” the farm wrote under pictures of the newborns.
