There will be a few new faces on the board of directors of the Victoria Foundation this year.

James Bay resident and former CBC broadcaster Jo-Ann Roberts will be joining the Victoria Foundation's board, while Zaman Velji joins the investment committee.

Roberts originally hosted a morning show for CBC radio on the east coast and went on to host All Points West on Vancouver Island for 11 years. In 2015, Roberts ran and lost against Murray Rankin in the race for MP for Victoria.

Velji comes to the investment committee with a background in finance and currently works with the B.C. Investment Management Corporation in Victoria.

Another new face at the foundation will be Lindsay Auld, who comes to the foundation from the Winnipeg foundation. Auld will be replacing Nathan Lapointe, while he is on leave until the end of March.
