‘Massive’ copper wire theft from vacant Victoria West building

Extensive damage and graffiti found by workers returning to Harbour Road site on Monday

A massive copper wire theft was discovered Monday at a vacant building in the 200-block of Harbour Rd.

There was extensive damage and graffiti inside the building, and the thieves likely took their time stripping the copper wire over the weekend, said Const. Mike Russell. Damage is estimated in the thousands of dollars.
