If nomination packages are any indication, Victoria can expect some crowded all-candidates meetings again in this year’s municipal election.

So far, about 30 hard-copy packages have been picked up at City Hall, but that number doesn’t include those downloaded from the city’s website. There’s no way of tracking the online number.

In Esquimalt, 13 packages have been picked up.

Candidates can begin filing their papers between Oct. 1 and 14.
