Residents may notice noise from army exercises in Metchosin

Albert Head, Rocky Point being used for army drills

The Canadian Army is conducting training exercises in and around the Albert Head and Rocky Point areas for three weeks.

The exercises, which began on Monday (March 10), will involve the use of Sea King helicopters, patrol craft training vessels, inflatable boats and blank small-arms ammunition.

Local residents may hear noise related to the exercises on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m.
