Between May 2 and June 13, more than 18,000 randomly selected residents of the Capital Region will be invited to take part in an anonymous community wellbeing survey.
Intended to measure the quality of life of residents, the survey takes into account a full range of social, health, environmental and economic considerations affecting citizens.
The Victoria Foundation and the Capital Regional District are partners in the initiative, and researchers with the Canadian Index of Wellbeing at the University of Waterloo are collecting and analyzing all of the responses.
Results will help the CRD to improve services and the Victoria Foundation to better direct funding to worthy charities.
