in Loving Memory ~

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Drake Dyck from a heart attack at home with Linda by his side, he was 75. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.

He leaves behind his wife Linda; daughter Leanne (David); son Dan (Donna); grandson Ryan (Chelsea); stepson Brian (Leah); grandson (Leo); as well as sister Darlene (Mel); many nieces, nephews and friends.

Drake was predeceased by his parents Jacob & Elise, sister Donna and brother Wayne.

Born in Wells, BC, and raised in Vancouver, Drake then moved to Vancouver Island as a young man with family in tow.

Entrepreneur and businessman (Ritchie's Distributers, Winrich Cedar), Drake had a passion for building custom lake and ocean cedar docks from Victoria to Nanaimo. He was in the process of building his retirement float home in Ocean Falls, BC. Drake was an avid boater, fisherman, bowler and golfer.

Above all Drake's spiritual and unwavering faith in the Lord carried him through life. Drake was giving of his time and energy, helping friends out whenever he could. A survivalist and a prepper, Drake was ready for anything. Drake will be remembered and missed for his spirit and love for his family, friends and animals.

Now he can play fetch in heaven with Buddy his dog and long-time companion... they were inseparable.
