On Saturday, April 20, the Salmon Confidential film was shown with Alexandra Morton there to field questions and explain how the federal and provincial governments have been side-stepping the science of fish farms in our waters.
Elizabeth May was there – the first MP I’ve seen in 40 years who actually educates us on issues in parliament. Jane Sterk, B.C. Green leader, outlined her platform to end fish farms.
However, Gary Holman of NDP would only study the issue. The Lib/Con candidates were a no-show — don’t they ever fish or eat salmon?
I’m definitely going Green this time around.
