LETTER: Don’t let the Grinches at Victoria City Hall steal your Christmas

I am very concerned about the city of Victoria and their decision to pass a motion to look at altering spending for Christmas decorations. o stop caroling and wishing people Merry Christmas.

I thought we were a Christian country. I am the first to respect others traditions and beliefs. Please respect mine. People this is happening because we let it. Victoria was once a historical romantic place to be at Christmas.

Someone receives a plant and gets upset. I don’t drink coffee because of my religion and get offered all the time. Who cares. It is the thought. I am putting lots of lights out, going to turn the music up and roll down the windows in my car. I will also wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

So lets not let the Grinches at city hall steal Christmas. Let City Hall know how you feel because they won’t ask you.
