Oak Bay will suffer from a black eye for deer cull decision

What gives you the right to destroy the lives of innocent creatures who have migrated into our community

Oak Bay Mayor and council have decided that the deer must be culled. I’m very disappointed in you all.

What gives you the right to destroy the lives of innocent creatures who have migrated into our community through no fault of their own? Did the NIMBY’s sway you? Obviously. During the university rabbit situation, news of the pending cull went worldwide. And although they might disagree, the university suffered a major black eye over the controversy.

Now Oak Bay will be in the same situation all because the entitled people of this community do not want to have these beautiful animals in their gardens. I think disgusted is too soft a word to express my feelings.
