I am writing to formally complain about the strong smell coming from the composting facility on Lochside Drive.
I appreciate that some measures have been taken to reduce the amount of compost sent to this location, however, the smell is stronger than ever.
Last night we enjoyed a smell so strong it invaded our kitchen and living room. This is not why I purchased a home in Tanner Ridge. This morning it is the usual stink of compost. It smells like Hartland Road today.
My point is that this facility has no place in Central Saanich whatsoever. As a tax payer and voter I feel it is time to let this company know that it is time to cease operations and relocate. Every day, all day, it stinks. Unacceptable.
