What fun!

We had the pleasure  of attending some of the Sidney Days functions on July 1.

At the venues we attended, a well deserved thank you was given to each sponsor and to special guests that were present, but we noticed, that there was no mention of the hard work and efforts of  the organizing committee.

Members of the Peninsula Celebration’s Committee spend months planning and preparing the various activities. In the weeks beforehand, hundreds of hours of  time are donated by volunteers, to make Sidney Days the success that it is.

As grateful citizens, who enjoyed the fruits of their labor, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of those hard working volunteers who made Canada Day in Sidney the wonderful family event that it was.
