Junior Shamrocks announce 2014 lacrosse season

The boys in green are ready to kick off their season

The West Shore-based Victoria Junior Shamrocks open their 2014 B.C. Lacrosse Association season in Langley April 27, then play their home opener May 3 at The Q Centre against the Coquitlam Junior Adanacs.

For lacrosse fans who want to get a sneak peek of this year’s club, the ‘Rocks will play Nanaimo in an exhibition game next Wednesday (April 16) at the Fuller Lake Arena in Chemainus. Game time is 7 p.m.

Meanwhile, the senior Shamrocks open their home schedule May 23 against the Nanaimo Timbermen. Their game nights are Friday, starting at 7:45 p.m.
