Ben Walker picked up a Gordie Howe hat trick against Kelowna

Goalie Coleman Vollrath won his first game in his first WHL start on Saturday as the Victoria Royals bounced back to beat the Kelowna Rockets 3-2 after losing 4-1 to the Rockets on Friday.

This Thursday the Calgary Hitmen visit, the only game of the week for the Royals, 7:05 p.m. at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

Saturday night was Ben Walker’s night, as the red-haired forward picked up his second WHL fight, this time a win over Rockets captain Colton Sissons, as well as scoring twice and getting an assist.
