An April 19 Can-Am Series match at Westhills Stadium in Langford is part of the road to the Women’s Rugby World Cup for Team Canada.
The national 15’s team program will host 41 players from across the country for training camp starting this week at the Canadian Rugby Centre of Excellence in Langford and at Shawnigan Lake School.
Among the local club players taking part are Victoria’s Jessica Dovane and Velox RFC teammate Barbara Mervin.
