I was born in Ottawa to a military family, and I lived in Halifax before my family settled in the Comox Valley, where my parents established a family-run business. It was there that I first discovered my strong interest in technology, sales, and marketing. In 2003, I moved to Victoria to attend Camosun College, seeking a new chapter in my life. After a 10-year career with the provincial government, I made the shift into the media industry, starting at the Sooke News Mirror. Eventually, I moved into a senior sales role with Victoria News in 2018.
In 2022, I was thrilled to earn a spot on Editor & Publisher Magazine’s Sales Superstar list. Throughout my journey, I've built meaningful connections not only with local businesses but also with the community itself. Now, I reside in James Bay with my husband Jim, and I'm deeply involved in the community stories that interconnect within Greater Victoria. When I'm not working, my husband and I love to explore Vancouver Island together with our three children.
