Army cadets looking for a few good teens

Victoria corps begins annual recruiting campaign

Army cadets are looking for recruits.

As a member of the 2289 5th (BC) Field Artillery Regiment Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps, teens learn leadership and adventure training..

The local army cadet corps meets on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 9:15 p.m. at the Bay Street Armoury, 715 Bay St.

Teens 12 to 18 years of age may enrol in cadets. Uniforms are loaned at no charge and summer training from two weeks to seven weeks is included for selected cadets. Cadets are not members of the Canadian Forces.
