The volunteer organization, organized by women for women, helps each other through the ups and downs of moving to a new city.
Victoria Women’s Newcomers Club meets once a month for a social luncheon where guest speakers provide information and insights into living in Victoria.
The club also has special activity groups which meet for socializing, walking, golfing, playing bridge, learning mah-jjong, meeting at new restaurants, exploring new sites, sharing books, learning about IPads and even paddling on a dragon boat team.
