Victoria Golf Club is ranked the top greens on Vancouver Island, third in BC and 15th in Canada in this year’s Canadian Golf Magazine ranking.

Royal Colwood ranked 26. Bear Mountain’s valley course and mountain course were ranked one and two in the ‘Next 10 BC’ list.

“It’s great to see so many golf clubs out west recognized in this ranking,” said Scott Kolb, general manger at VGC. “We have such a special piece of land at Victoria Golf Club – our members love the opportunity to stand out on ‘The Point’.”

Founded in 1893, the historic golf club in Oak Bay features five holes nestled against the Strait of Juan de Fuca and much of the rest with stunning views of the water.

“We are proud of our long history in Oak Bay and our Canadian golf presence,” Kolb said, “ but equally as proud of how we have evolved in remaining socially relevant in the community and the golf world today.”
