Oak Bay celebrates Canada Day early

Oak Bay got an early jump on Canada Day festivities with a Celebrate Canada Party on the front lawn of the municipal hall from noon until 2pm on Friday (June28).

Adults and kids were treated to a variety of free activities and foods. Visitors could check out a fire truck and police car, play tennis or golf, make a button, gett a tattoo or balloon animal or try their jumps out in the bouncy castle.

The event was organized by the  Oak Bay Community Initiatives Committee and Recreation Oak Bay.
