Emergency crews carried three commuters with unknown injuries to hospital following a three-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on Highway 17 near McKenzie Avenue.
Sgt. Julie Fast said emergency crews responded to the crash just after 6:30 a.m. after a vehicle heading south on the highway rear-ended another vehicle, pushing it into the centre concrete median. This collision then pushed that piece of the median into a north bound lane, where a vehicle heading in that direction struck it.
“Three people were taken to hospital with unknown injuries,” said Fast.
