The West Shore RCMP is looking for someone after a local bus driver was assaulted in April.

Police issued a plea to the public for tips after an attack on a BC Transit driver on April 21 at 2:44 p.m., at the 850 block of Station Avenue.

The assault took place while the bus was stopped at the Station bus exchange in Langford and following a verbal altercation.

The suspect is described as a white male, aged 13 to 18 years old, standing five-foot-11-inches tall, with brown hair and wearing a brown and black two-tone jacket, grey backpack and carrying a skateboard.

If you can identify this suspect, contact the West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264.

“Public transportation should be a safe experience for both passengers and drivers. Investigators are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying this suspect,” said Const. Andrew Matheson, West Shore RCMP media relations officer.
