As we begin 2015, one of my new year resolutions is the same one that I have made every year for decades: Remember to never take any of the politicians in B.C. too seriously since their main role in our society is to provide us with comic relief.
I believe it was long-ago B.C. legislative correspondent Ian Street who best summed up the world of B.C. politics way back in the 1950s when he wisely observed: “B.C. politics easily makes up in entertainment what it lacks in edification.”
