The news, the other day, had a story of a cyclist being hit by a car at the Galloping Goose crossing at McKenzie Avenue. Both Mainroad Contracting and the Ministry of Transportation should be held accountable.
I have on two occasions in the past two months, contacted these offices regarding the danger of this location as the crosswalks have been “painted out.” I hope no one gets killed due to the inability to provide safe crossings.
