Vernon's Jim Cotter rink will represent B.C. at the Brier in Saskatoon after winning the provincial title Sunday in Parksville.

It's back to the Brier.

Jim Cotter's Vernon rink will represent B.C. at the national curling championships in Saskatoon, Sask. after beating New Westminister's Brent Pierce 7-5 at the B.C. Men's Curling Championships in Parksville Sunday.

Along with skip Jim Cotter, the team includes lead Rick Sawatsky, third Kevin Folk and lead Tyrel Griffith.

The 2012 Tim Hortons Brier takes place March 3 to 11 at the Saskatoon Credit Union Centre.

A Vernon curling rink is looking to be provincial champions again.

Jim Cotter's rink will defend their B.C. title against Brent Pierce of New Westminister at the Canadian Direct Insurance BC Men's Curling Championship today in Parksville.

Cotter beat Chris Baier 7-6 Saturday.

Today's final will be shown at 5 p.m. on Shaw Channel 11.

The winner will go to the men's nationals, the Brier.
