Victoria high schools warm up MS Kick for the Cure

Three local high schools are hosting MS Kick for a Cure soccer games in a build-up to the annual MS Kick for the Cure on June 11.

As of Wednesday 80 kids earned the minimum pledge to participate in the Stelly’s secondary school event on Tuesday (June 7), with 40 kids registered to play at Colquitz middle school on Thursday (June 9). Fifty kids were registered for Reynolds secondary for Friday (June 10).

The main event, June 11, takes place at Hampton Park. The marathon game runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and rotates hundreds of substitutes while with an ongoing fundraiser and celebration at the clubhouse.

June 7: Stelly's High School.  3:15 p.m. at Stelly's.

June 9: Colquitz Middle School. 1:30 p.m. at Colquitz.

June 10: Reynolds High School. 2 p.m. at Braefoot Turf
