The Victoria Royals took sole possession of fourth place in the WHL's Western Conference on Thursday night, surviving a three-goal comeback from the Swift Current Broncos and winning in overtime – 4-3 – with a goal from Axel Blomqvist.
Ben Walker opened the scoring for Victoria and was joined with first-period tallies from Tyler Soy and Steven Hodges, as the Royals raced out to a 3-0 lead just 3:35 in.
Swift Current rallied with three straight goals of their own. The Broncos currently sit second in the Eastern Conference.
