FernFest is back for its 19th year in Fernwood Square and on the Vic High school grounds.
The annual free summer solstice festival brings together neighbours and businesses for a two-day party, beginning Friday, June 20 at 5 p.m. with live music and artisan booths in Fernwood Square.
Kids activities can be found in the Field of Dreams on the nearby Vic High grounds. Balloon twisting, tie dye, a cardboard castle, face-painting and storytellers will entertain.
On June 21, wake up for a pancake breakfast at 9 a.m. from the Fernwood Inn before checking out more than 40 artisans and vendors.
