A swarm of students decked the halls for those staying in the Canadian Cancer Society lodge in Victoria leading up to Christmas.
In a holiday tradition, Oak Bay High’s Youth Against Cancer Club members crafted door hangers in November and then spent an afternoon in December getting the decor seasonal for those staying in the building on Richmond Road for cancer treatment.

Students outfitted the lodge with individual door posters, a little garland in each room, and some glitter to the common room.
When the final residents leave ahead of Christmas, many choose to take their door poster home. All clients also receive a handmade Christmas card for the month of December.
