First Metropolitan church, 932 Balmoral Rd., presents Martin the Cobbler, an adaptation of Where Love Is, There God Is, a short story by Tolstoy. The intercultural and intergenerational ensemble tells a story of hope and compassion. Performances are Dec. 23 and 24 at 7:30 p.m. Admission is by donation; all proceeds to Our Place.
