At 79, Robert Redford is going strong.

The former Jay Gatsby – the still-Sundance Kid – stars with fellow IHOP customer Nick Nolte (74) and Emma Thompson in this weekend's A Walk in the Woods. It's perhaps the most anticipated film in a low-hanging Labour Day long weekend, joined by another Transporter film and Chris Evans' directorial debut, Before We Go.

Expect last weekend's solid performers to continue their run atop the box office. Because even if Redford and Evans win over the critical crowd, their flicks aren't going to cause a traffic jam outside Grauman's Theatre.

Straight Outta Compton led in ticket sales last weekend, with War Room and Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation, while No Escape also performed well. That'll continue, with no new challengers joining the party.
