The B.C. Coroners Service has identified the male body found at Goldstream Park on Dec. 8, as Thomas Andrew Stewart.
The 50-year-old was from Victoria and had been reported missing to the Victoria Police Department in August.
The Coroners Service reported the man had appeared to be deceased for several weeks and it's speculated he had been living in a makeshift campsite in the park.
The Coroners Service reported there was no obvious cause of death or evidence of foul play.
