Colwood garage fire under investigation

A detached garage went up in flames on the 3000 block of Pickford Road, Nov. 9.

A detached garage went up in flames on the 3000 block of Pickford Road, Nov. 9.

The fire was quickly contained and firefighters prevented it from spreading to the main residence and other homes in the Colwood neighbourhood.

Colwood and View Royal fire departments arrived on scene along with the West Shore RCMP.

No injuries were reported and the estimated damage has not yet been determined.

The fire is currently under investigation.

West Shore RCMP is asking anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information to call the detachment at 250-474-2264.
