Oak Bay Coun. Kevin Murdoch is the new chair of the Greater Victoria Public Library board.
Saanich citizen representative Anne Kirkaldy was elected vice-chair.
“[This] will be an exciting year for the Greater Victoria Public Library as we develop a new strategic plan,” Murdoch said.
“The board and staff will be tasked with creating a forward vision that encompasses great services throughout the region within a sustainable financial model.”
Greater Victoria Public Library provides services in 10 libraries to more than 300,000 residents.
