Victoria police don’t have a suspect – or a victim – after shots rang out inside a downtown apartment building Sunday night.
Several people called 9-1-1 from View Towers, at 1147 Quadra St., at 9:30 p.m. to report multiple gunshots.
Officers surveyed every unit in the large building. They found several shell casings in the hallway of a mid-level floor, but didn’t find a suspect, a victim, blood or a weapon.
Police also called hospitals and paramedics for reports of anyone who might have been injured, but couldn’t find a connection.
