My husband and I wish to thank the caring and attentive people who stopped to help me after I fell along Beach Drive at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 3.
I especially want to thank the lady who phoned for an ambulance and who was so reassuring to me; the lady who went to the Oak Bay Beach Hotel for bandages and Handi Wipes; the Oak Bay Beach Hotel for their kindness in giving her a ride back in one of the hotel cars; and the driver who offered me a ride home if needed.
Many thanks also to the Oak Bay Fire Department and the ambulance team for the care they gave me.
