It is obvious that our mayor does not understand the difference between humane and brutal.
He states the deer will be culled humanely but it will be just the opposite. These animals will be killed in a most brutal and horrific way.
I refer readers to the DeerSafe Victoria web site for a description of this “humane” slaughter. Warning, the content is very disturbing.
Many animal groups, political leaders and the SPCA oppose this means and no animal nor human deserves to die in this manner.
