This is a letter I have just sent to Sidney council. I realize it is too late for the Sidney public washrooms to be relocated but I am really upset at the location and felt I should let the council know. They are a real eyesore when walking along the waterfront, especially when heading towards the marina where they block the newly expanded restaurant of Jacks.
I believe these washrooms cost close to $1 million. They will probably end up providing shelter for the homeless so some people will get use of this expensive waterfront construction. It’s a necessary item but not in that location.
