Re: Homeowners to bear brunt of property tax increase (News, April 13)
I was disappointed with Council’s decision to increase Victoria’s residential taxes more than business taxes. I was especially disturbed by Coun. Alto’s comments favouring the decision. She lives in Saanich, not Victoria. Shouldn’t she refrain from voting and commenting on taxes she does not have to pay?
