Maritime Museum of B.C. Society will elect three new directors to its board at the annual general meeting on Oct. 16.
Society members will also receive an update on what the museum accomplished in 2013-14 and a proposal that could redefine the museum’s future.
The society is looking for board members who have a combination of business, and entrepreneurial experience and have developed contacts with local government.
Nominations can be sent to Barry Rolston at bwrolston@shaw.ca. Proposed candidates must be nominated in writing by three society members by Oct 5.
The AGM will take place at the Maritime Museum of B.C., 28 Bastion Square, beginning at 7 p.m.
